Help Kifaya Get Medical Care & Reliable Transport

My name is Kifaya, and over the past year, my health has taken a serious toll on both my body and mind. I’ve been diagnosed with anemia and diabetes, and recently learned I have white spots on my brain. My body also can’t process certain enzymes, which has made daily life even more challenging. I’m working hard to manage these conditions, but the costs of treatment and seeing specialists like a neurologist are overwhelming. Despite these challenges, I continue to work and have job accommodations, but getting to work and medical appointments has become a daily struggle without a reliable vehicle.

Last year, I was in an accident that totaled my car. Since then, I’ve had to borrow someone else’s vehicle just to get to work, run errands, and make it to my doctor’s appointments. On top of that, my identity was stolen in March 2025, and someone took out loans in my name, which destroyed my credit. This has made it impossible for me to get a new vehicle or secure stable housing. I’ve used up my savings, tried selling my belongings online, and cut back on everything I can, but it’s just not enough. I’m not sure how much longer I’ll have a place to live or access to a car, and I’m worried about how I’ll continue my health journey without these essentials.

I’m reaching out for help so I can afford medical care and a reliable vehicle. My biggest hope is to stay healthy and be there for my kids as they grow up. Any support, no matter how small, means the world to me. Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can give. Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones—life is unpredictable, and every bit of kindness matters.

I WANT TO LIVE. FOR THEM.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
