Help Me Restore My Vision: Support for Eye Muscle Surgery
Hi, my name is Katlyn, and I’m reaching out for help as I prepare to undergo eye muscle surgery to correct double vision.
For a while now, I’ve been living with double vision caused by a misalignment in my eye muscles. It affects my depth perception, balance, and ability to carry out everyday activities comfortably—things many people take for granted like driving, reading, and doing my art without strain. It’s not only physically exhausting but also mentally draining, and it has made even the simplest tasks much more difficult.
After many doctor visits, I’ve been approved for eye muscle surgery, which offers real hope of restoring normal vision and greatly improving my quality of life. However, as much as I want to move forward with this treatment, my insurance does not cover the surgery and the medical costs are more than I can afford on my own.
