Our friend, Justin Kent, is facing an incredibly challenging time after his mother and sister-in-law were involved in a serious car accident near Lumberton, NC on May 25th. This devastating event has left his family navigating a difficult path towards recovery.
Justin’s mother, Elizabeth sustained a broken neck in the accident, requiring extensive medical attention and a long road to recovery. His sister-in-law, Jamie was airlifted to Chapel Hill in critical condition and was on life support for several days. She has undergone multiple surgeries and will require specialized care two hours away from home.
As you can imagine, this sudden and tragic event has placed an immense burden on Justin. Justin is dedicated to supporting his mother and brother during this crisis.
How You Can Help:
The fundraiser is set up to assist Justin and his family in alleviating some of the immediate and long-term financial strain. Funds raised will be allocated to:
• Travel and accommodation expenses: Supporting Justin in staying near his sister-in-law in Chapel Hill and covering travel costs to be with loved ones.
• Long-term home care for Justin’s mother: Ensuring she receives the support and assistance she needs during her recovery from a broken neck.
• Unknown medical expenses:Addressing potentially extensive and ongoing medical costs not covered by insurance.
