Hi, my name is Jasmine, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart.
My father, Dave Scott, is currently on life support in another state. I don’t know how much time we have left, and the pain of not being able to be by his side is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Due to financial hardship, I can’t afford to travel to him — and the weight of that is unbearable.
Over the past few months, life has been overwhelming. I’ve fallen behind on rent and bills, and I’m struggling to keep up. I’ve been placed on several medications for depression, and I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat emotionally and mentally. But truthfully, I’m not okay — I’m exhausted, scared, and feeling like there’s no way out.
I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but I’ve reached a point where I need to ask for help. Anything you can contribute — no matter how small — will go toward travel costs to see my dad, catching up on rent, and covering basic needs while I work to stabilize my life.
If you’ve ever known what it feels like to be stuck and heartbroken at the same time, then you understand what this means. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping however you can — whether that’s through a donation, a share, or a kind word.
With love and gratitude,
Jasmine
