Help Honor Our Mother’s Final Wishes

June 2025 Update: A Mother’s Final Fight

As of Monday, June 9, 2025, our family received the update we’ve feared—our mother’s chemotherapy treatments have officially been stopped. Her care team has determined that the treatments are no longer helping and have begun to worsen her symptoms. After an emotional conversation, we’ve made the difficult but compassionate decision to transition her into hospice care, where she will receive 24-hour support focused on comfort, peace, and dignity.

She has chosen to live out her remaining days on her own terms, surrounded by love, laughter, and her family. She is still the strong, generous, and brave woman we’ve always known—and she’s fighting each moment with grace.

We continue to pray for a miracle, but we are also beginning to prepare for what she has asked of us. She has made it clear over the years that she wants to be buried—not cremated—and has shared her wishes regarding the type of casket she wants and where she would like to be laid to rest. These conversations are painful but sacred, and we are doing our best to honor every detail.

Unfortunately, these preparations come with significant expenses that we are not currently able to meet alone. In addition to burial costs, we are also balancing the costs of round-the-clock hospice care, medical needs, and trying to keep our home environment peaceful for her final days.

If you are able, any support—whether it’s through a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this message—would mean the world to us. Every contribution helps us get one step closer to ensuring our mom is cared for with the same compassion she has shown to everyone throughout her life.

We are endlessly grateful for the love and support you’ve already given us. Your generosity has extended her life, lifted our spirits, and reminded us that we’re not alone in this.

With love and gratitude,

The Delgado Family

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
