Amanda Fought Addiction, Now let’s help her smile.
Meet Amanda — a proud mother to Sean and Abel, a fierce autism mama, and a beacon of light and hope for women in recovery.
Amanda’s journey hasn’t been easy. She’s faced addiction, adversity, and countless personal challenges. But through it all, she’s never stopped fighting — not just for herself, but for her two boys. Her bubbly personality and contagious optimism shine through even in the darkest moments, and her determination to create a better life is nothing short of inspiring.
Amanda is now in recovery, and has been clean since October 8th, 2022. She uses her experience to support and uplift others walking a similar path. She gives so freely of her time, offering guidance, empathy, and strength to women who feel lost — because she knows exactly what that feels like, and she wants others to know they’re not alone.
Now, she’s dreaming even bigger. Amanda has recently applied to Mohawk College’s Social Service Worker Program, taking the next step toward becoming a professional support for those battling addiction and mental health challenges. She’s ready to turn her pain into purpose.
But there’s still one obstacle in her way: her smile.
Years of hardship took a toll on Amanda’s health, including the loss of her teeth — a painful reminder of the past she’s worked so hard to leave behind. While her heart is full and her future is bright, Amanda worries that her front missing teeth will affect her ability to feel confident, secure, and professional in her career and daily life.
That’s where we come in.
We’re raising funds to help Amanda access the dental care she needs — including full restoration — so she can enter this next chapter with the confidence, dignity, and radiance she deserves.
This isn’t just about a smile. It’s about giving Amanda the tools she needs to thrive in her new life, to continue being the incredible mom she is, and to step fully into her role as a leader and healer in her community.
If Amanda has touched your life, inspired you, or reminded you of the power of resilience, we invite you to give what you can. Every donation brings her one step closer to smiling again — for herself, her boys, and every life she’s yet to support in the helping field.
