“Hey everyone. I’m 65, a husband, a grandfather, and I’m on Social Security. Every day I walk 2 to 4 miles with my dog—even though my knees hurt—because I’m trying to lose 25 to 30 pounds. My doctor said Wegovy could finally help me get this weight off, but it costs over $1,000 a month and Medicare won’t cover it. That’s a third of my income.

I’m reaching out here because I need help. I’m trying to raise enough to afford the medication for a few months so I can walk pain-free, lose the weight, and reach my goal of walking 8 miles a day.
