My name is Tyra and I’m trying to raise money for a red light therapy panel for my 2-year-old daughter who was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid idiopathic arthritis. At 18 months, she lost the ability to walk, and since her diagnosis, she’s had to receive subcutaneous injections of methotrexate once a week. She’s had blood taken for tests multiple times now, IVs, joint infusions, she’s had to be sedated and given an MRI, she goes to 6 different specialists, and we have to make sure she doesn’t get too much sugar as that causes flare-ups in arthritis patients.
I am not painting the most fun picture for a start to this little girl’s life because it’s really not. She can’t play like a regular kid her age yet, and while we are hoping she can go into remission, we also want to help ease the constant pain caused by her arthritis in any way that we can, and that can be done with the help of a red light therapy panel.
I’m just a waitress in my 20s, and I can barely make ends meet as it is with 3 children under 3. I just gave birth a month ago and I went back to work last week. Any help that you can give would be so greatly appreciated.
