Help Build a Safe Space for Adalie

Hi friends, family, and kind strangers:

I’m raising funds to build a dedicated sensory-safe room in our home for my 4-year-old daughter, Adalie.

Adalie is medically complex and highly sensitive to her environment. She can’t safely go to public places like parks or stores, and she can’t attend school. Even short periods outside are dangerous for her. She’s only been to a park twice in her life; both times with two trained caregivers and strict precautions.

Most children get the freedom to run, climb, play, and just be a kid. For Adalie, that kind of freedom doesn’t exist. Right now, she doesn’t have a safe space to move freely, explore, or decompress – things that are essential to her development and well-being.

That’s why I’m working to build a brand-new room in our home and turn it into a fully customized sensory space just for her. This is a huge project, involving construction and specialized materials, but it’s the only way she can safely play, regulate, and just exist comfortably in her own body.

It’s incredibly expensive, but necessary. Every donation helps us get closer to making this a reality for her. And if you know of any resources or connections (equipment, materials, or anything else that could help) please don’t hesitate to reach out or pass this along.

Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for helping us build a safer, happier space for Adalie.

With gratitude,

Stephanie (Adalie’s mom)

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
