Our friends, Brandon and Kendra, have had to put their dreams of traveling and camping on hold, again.
In 2022, Kendra was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After 6 months of chemotherapy, bilateral mastectomy, and 5 weeks of radiation, she was considered “no evidence of disease.” Almost 2 years passed, and Kendra was excited to be having reconstructive surgery, but something wasn’t right. She was having unbearable back pain. After a ton of tests and appointments, Kendra has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Cancer in her spine and pelvis. She has a long road ahead with bone marrow testing being the next step.
Brandon has been an amazing caretaker for both Kendra and their foster daughter, Victoria. He has become her full-time caregiver since her diagnosis and is unable to return to work at this time. Neither of them have any income coming in and bills are piling up.
Along with all the medical expenses, they were involved in a car accident and their dog had to have ACL surgery.
