Hello family and friends, and also residents of Hidalgo County. My name is Blanca Montelongo, and I come in prayer, guidance, and help for my mother who was diagnosed with cancer metastasis to her brain. Unfortunately, she is undocumented and does not rely on or can apply for government assistance. I’m her only source of income. I’ve taken weeks off work because I’ve been trying to get her help as much as possible, but no help yet. My mom has been here for 30 years, working hard for this country in the watermelon fields since entering the country. I need to raise money for her care; she needs hospice and is bed-bound with mental decline. Whatever you can donate—1, 2, 5, 10—will be greatly appreciated.
