To say these last 3 months have been rough, is an understatement.
Benji had been sick for 3 weeks trying to figure out what was going on. He had an X-ray, blood work. Some days he was good, the next throwing up. Turned out, he had an obstruction and needed surgery. He chewed a Chuck it! Ball and we thought we collected the pieces, but we didn’t. He was in the ER for a few nights.
The day after he came home, a perfectly normal MJ threw up the other piece of the ball. To the ER for that surgery.
April 15th, my neighbor’s tree fell on our house and we have been at the Residence Inn since April 15th.
Then, my sweet Lilo. We had picked her up at daycare and they said she had a hot spot. The next morning we went to the vet and back to the ER. This was 2 weeks ago They did a surgery to clean up the area as she was leaking blood and fluid from her skin. We thought she was bit by a poisonous spider Wednesday her cultures and biopsies came back. She had a rare cancer and to stop it from spreading, they had to remove her front leg the next day.
She will need a round of chemo, to make sure the biopsies from the margins come back. She is our shark attack survivor. Our Captain Hook.
