My dear friend, Athena Craig, is going through an incredibly difficult time, and she desperately needs our help. Her loving mom recently suffered a severe stroke and is currently in the ICU. This sudden and serious medical emergency has left Athena heartbroken and anxious to be by her mother’s side.
The biggest hurdle for Athena right now is the cost of travel. She lives in Clarksville, TN, and needs to get to San Diego, CA as soon as possible. What makes this even more challenging is that Athena’s loyal companion, Beast, her dog, is her emotional support animal and an integral part of her life. Beast provides immense comfort and stability to Athena, especially during stressful times like these. Therefore, it’s essential that Beast can travel with her.
The estimated cost for Athena and Beast’s Greyhound tickets, including Beast’s pet travel fees, is approximately $2,500. This amount would cover round-trip tickets, all necessary pet accommodations, as well as room and board.
Being with her mom during this critical time would mean the world to Athena and provide her mother with much-needed comfort and support as she begins her recovery journey. We understand that times are tough for everyone, but any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
