Hello,
This is an incredibly difficult thing to write. Angela McIver Livingston, an absolute institution in Sheridan, was recently diagnosed with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), an aggressive and dangerous form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It turned her life upside down, and by the time she received this diagnosis, the cancer had spread from her neck down all the way through her torso. Her doctors also determined that her diagnosis was lifelong, although with proper treatment and care this does not necessarily mean terminal.
The nature of the illness is such that Angie’s doctors put her on an immediate and equally aggressive chemotherapy schedule, a dose of which she is set to receive every 21 days for at least the next 6 months, or until it goes into remission. It’s hard to describe the anguish this disease has wrought for Angie. She is in near constant physical pain and discomfort, not just from the illness itself but from the treatment that is meant to extend her life.
Angie’s two beautiful daughters Brynlee and Ava recently lost their father, her husband Jarod. They were forced to navigate overwhelming grief far too young, and because they are too young right now to fully grasp what’s happening, they need their mom. If you’re reading this, you can help her persevere for them. You can help Angela give them the love, time, memories, and attention they need and deserve. In the face of tragedy and adversity, Angela has shown remarkable resilience and strength of spirit. She is a wonderful, caring mother, a steadfast friend, and- as anyone who has had the pleasure to be served by her will know- a warm presence and a confidant. She is fighting hard now, and has had many wonderful people already step up to her side, but this is a long fight and she needs our support!
