Help Amanda Jaquins Heal and Fight Cancer

Hi how is every one doing. My name is Larry jaquins. The picture of above is my wife Amanda jaquins. Over the last 2 years Amanda had been starting to aches and pains in her back and hips. Over this time the pain has gotten worse. So we started going to see her doctor, for these issues and he sent us to orthopedic doctor to see what was going on with her hip and back. During this time they did cat scans and an mri. We found out she was going to need a hip replacement. As we were waiting to get insurance to send her to a doctor for surgery, and arguing with insurance her health has declined. She went from being active, to slowing not being able to walk. She heard a pop sound in her hip, and hearing that sound she lost all usage of her left leg. We had to take her to the emergency room by ambulance. We get there and the did another cat scan and we find out that popping sound she heard was her hip breaking. In the scans the also found some weak spots in her bones in the hip, femur, clavicle, and chest. They called in an orthopedic doctor for emergency surgery.. he wasn’t able to do the hip transplant, instead he had to put a rod in from her hip to her knee I her leg for support because they were worried her femur could break. They took some samples of her bone and it was confirmed that her bones are getting weak and brittle it is caused by a blood cancer in your bones called multiple myeloma. This is a rare form of cancer that affects 7 in 100,000 people. This cancer has no cure for it, but they can treat it to stop and slow down the growth of it. this is something we weren’t thinking we were gonna hear. She is gonna be off work for a long time for leg to heal and going for cancer treatment. There is a possibility they could send her out of state for treatment. So I’m here to try to get help to offset some of the cost as she isn’t gonna have enough vacation time from work to pay bills when fmla runs out. Medical bill from the hospital alone is gonna be over $100,000. Another thing I would like for this is help offset expenses while she will be out of work if she has to travel for cancer treatment Also another item to help travel with would be a mobility scooter.. since her medical insurance doesn’t cover one. She is my partner in life, my best friend, and someone who made me a better person. She is my other half who completes me, and someone I can’t be without and couldn’t see myself without her.
