My name is Alexander da Silva. When I was 15, I was in a horrible car accident. I have a metal bar in my leg from my hip to my shins. I was in a coma for 4 months. I couldn’t walk for two years. Because of my injured leg I limped out badly. Every day, kids at school made fun of me. But I worked hard and got a degree and seem to have a gift for website design and support.
- The pain has intensified as the steel rods that were places in my leg when I was 15 have worn through my hip joint. . Every step I take is filled with pain. I have learned to live with severe pain. I am trying to raise some money to pay the doctor, then hope to finance the rest. The other pic is of my X-ray showing the damaged hip. The growth of my body has caused serious problems in the steel rods.
- I am hoping to run again, stand for more than 10 minutes without intense swelling in my joints. I look forward to any amount that would help me reach my dream that I lost at 15 years. Thank you for your consideration.
