A devastating accident has turned life upside down for our dear friend, Hector Arellano Jr. and his beautiful young family. On June 2, Hector suffered a tragic fall that led to a severe brain injury. He was placed in a medically induced coma and underwent emergency cranial surgery the following day to remove a large blood clot. While we are thankful that he made it through the surgery, doctors have told the family that Hector has significant brain damage to the right side of his brain and may never regain the use of his left side.
To know “Hector the Connector” is to know, joy, energy, and a heart bigger than life. He lights up every room, always smiling, laughing and always lifting others. He’s a devoted dad to four beautiful children, including a four month old baby. He has been a loving partner to Angelica, his fiancé for 13 wonderful years. Angelica is a full-time mom and Hector has been the sole provider for family with this unimaginable tragedy. They face a long uncertain road filled with medical bills, lost income and years of rehabilitation and healing. He will be in the hospital at least a month and this is only the beginning of a lifelong impact on their family. We are asking from the bottom of our hearts for any help you can offer.
