On May 24th, my aunt Shelly, was tragically lost in a fatal collision on Hwy 26. At the time of the accident, she was traveling with her children, Whitné and Matthew, and her ex-husband, Bassam, home from the Oregon coast to honor the one-year anniversary of the loss of her eldest daughter, Gabby. The children and Bassam were all injured in the collision.
Whitné has been discharged and is beginning her recovery. Matthew remains in the hospital and will need extensive care before he can return home. Bassam is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility. Both Bassam and Whitné reside out of state but are recovering near the hospital Matthew is at.
I created this fundraiser to help cover missed wages, medical expenses, lodging, and potentially funeral costs for Shelly that may not be covered by insurance.
Any support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this page—is deeply appreciated. Thank you for keeping this family in your prayers during this difficult time.
