My name is Maryam, I’m 21 years old, and I’m sharing something deeply personal and heartbreaking. I was recently diagnosed with MRKH syndrome, a rare condition that means I was born without a uterus. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of becoming a mom, of carrying my own child, feeling their kicks, and bringing them into this world. That dream was everything to me. Finding out that I’ll never be able to bear children on my own has been one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to face. There is still hope through a uterus transplant, but it’s not covered by insurance, and the cost is something I could never afford on my own. I’m reaching out because I’m trying to raise the funds to give myself the chance to become a mother one day. If you feel moved to help, it would mean the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
