Let me tell you about Kim Pola. I’ve only known her a short while, but she left an impact. I bartend, and she immediately became a staple in our restaurant. Everyone that meets her is drawn in. Not because she is in a wheelchair, but because of her amazing personality and the positivity she exudes when speaking with her. She was in a tragic accident when she was just 19 years old and it left her paralyzed from the waist down. A tree fell on her and took away her ability to walk at such an early age. She’s still as active as ever.
She loves the outdoors. Taking her dogs for walks, fishing, and gardening are a few of her favorites.
The wheelchair that she has is rickety and untrustworthy. She is in constant pain because it is outdated and causes her discomfort. She has a new chair on the way. One that will take away her back pain while also giving her the ability to take on the terrain she dearly loves with her pups. Let’s take a minute and a few dollars to give this woman hope that she can afford this wheelchair that can give her the ability to enjoy her life to the extreme.
The wheelchair costs $45,000 that must be paid out of pocket. Unfortunately this is her reality and I think she deserves the help she is too proud to ask for So please give a lot or a little. Every $1 helps
