Hi, my name is Theresa Erickson. My mom and dad are Jennifer and David. They have been together for over 30 years now.
My mom had a heart attack on 6/13/25. She is home now, but has no help and still has an open artery in her arm due to her emergency procedure.
My dad HAS to work; he has no savings, no 401K, no retirement, he never has. My dad has worked since he was 15, building homes in the Venice, Florida area, from mansions to small beach houses. He’s a brilliant man. A God-fearing man.
He’s taken care of my brothers and me our whole lives. He’s never let us go without. Ever. We’ve always come first.
Because of nothing to fall back on financially, my dad cannot stay home to care for my mom while she is recovering. So all she has is me over FaceTime to be with her until dad gets home. I’m hoping, if anything, to give them a break for a month.
My dad deserves this more than any man I can think of. It’s not a break; it’s to be with the love of his life while she’s healing.
I know many of us never think we’d be in a situation where we have to ask for money, but I have no other choice and I cannot continue to watch my dad fall apart.
Seeing your dad cry at over 60 years old is probably one of the hardest things to ever see… because he doesn’t know what to do either.
I’m hoping enough to pay their rent and bills for a month. Please give what you can.
Please.
ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO MY PARENTS.
-Theresa Erickson.
