Give Euge a Chance to Keep Fighting from Home

Give Euge a Chance to Keep Fighting from Home

Euge is a sweet 3-year-old girl from Uruguay living with Canavan disease, a rare and life-limiting neurological condition with no cure.

When she was diagnosed as a baby, her parents made the hardest choice of their lives. They left everything behind: their jobs, their home, their family, and came to the US with hope that Euge could join a clinical trial. That didn’t happen, but what they did find here was something just as important: doctors who understood her condition, therapists who helped her thrive, and a system that gave her the chance to stay stable and safe.

Thanks to that care, Euge is alive, smiling, and full of life today. But now, because of immigration difficulties, the family has no choice but to return to Uruguay.

Going back is not easy. The medical system there is very different, and the supplies and support she needs aren’t always available. But they are doing what they have to do as a family.

The cost of this move including flights, shipping medical equipment, and stocking up on supplies for Euge is simply too much for them to cover alone. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

This is a kind, brave family who has already been through so much. If you can support them in this transition, your gift will make a real difference. Every dollar helps, and every share brings more love and support their way.

Thank you for helping us make this difficult moment a little lighter.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
