Help a Remarkable 90-Year-Old Stay Connected with Hearing Aids
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
I’m reaching out to share the story of my dear friend, Ann, a vibrant, sharp-as-a-whip 90-year-old who has lived a life full of hard work, resilience, and determination. At 90, she’s still brimming with wisdom and wit, but an essential tremor and significant hearing loss (50% in both ears) have made her world feel smaller and more isolated.
For most of her life, she ran her own business, pouring her heart into her work until the age of 87. Despite her incredible work ethic, her self-employment means her Social Security benefits are minimal, and she’s struggling to make ends meet. The essential tremor has taken a toll on her body, preventing her from working any longer, and now her hearing loss has isolated her, making it harder for her to connect with the people and world she loves.
She’s tried affordable, over-the-counter hearing aids, but they haven’t worked for her. A modest pair of quality hearing aids could make a world of difference, helping her hear conversations, enjoy music, and feel less alone. Unfortunately, the cost is out of reach for her and those closest to her.
That’s where you come in. We’re raising funds to help her get a pair of reliable hearing aids that will allow her to stay engaged with life. Your donation, no matter how small, will help bring back the joy of connection for someone who has given so much to the world around her.
Every contribution counts, and sharing this campaign with others can make a huge impact. Let’s come together to show this incredible woman that she’s not alone and that her community cares.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
With gratitude,
Friends of Ann
