Get Tyler Back on His Feet and Fishing

Tyler- a hardworking, metal-loving, fly-fishing wizard of a young man—headed out to see Metallica. It was supposed to be just a fun night.

But instead of getting a face-melting guitar solo, Tyler go a shattered ankle and an ambulance ride.

Yep. Before the band even hit the stage, Tyler fainted from a sudden drop in blood pressure (we think it was the combination of dehydration and sheer Metallica-induced excitement). He collapsed, woke up to a nurse holding his head, a medic assessing his new situation, an ambulance ride to the ER, and was told the concert went on without him—and so would the medical bills.

Now, Tyler is sidelined from work and his beloved fly-fishing adventures. No more casting lines at dawn. No more battling the fishies right now. Just an impeding major orthopedic surgery to put his ankle back together, painkillers, a boot, and a very bruised ego.

Here’s the thing: Tyler is not the type to ask for help. He’s the guy who helps you when it’s needed. But this ankle’s got him beat. He’s out of work for the next couple months, no insurance, major orthopedic surgery, and the bills are coming in faster than a Metallica encore.

That’s where you come in.

We’re asking for your help to cover Tyler’s basic expenses while he recovers—rent, food, utilities, and medical costs. He doesn’t need a stadium full of people, just a community of kind-hearted humans willing to chip in so he can heal without the weight of financial stress.

Any donation, no matter how small, is a big step toward his recovery. If not, at least share this with someone who might appreciate a good “rock and fall” story.

Let’s get Tyler back on his feet—and back on the water, rod in one hand, air-guitaring with the other.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
