Hello, my name is Beth, and I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit on behalf of my beloved mother, Yaya—a 78-year-old.
My mom dedicated over 20 years of her life to teaching, shaping the minds and hearts of young students with patience and love. After retiring, she moved to Singapore to live with me and help care for her grandchild.
But on April 15, 2025, everything changed. She suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, followed by a second ischemic stroke due to a blocked blood vessel in her brain.
Her condition is further complicated by an irregular heartbeat, making her situation even more fragile.
Her doctor has advised that she is not fit to travel back home due to the risks—so she must remain in Singapore for ongoing treatment and rehabilitation.
Unfortunately, Yaya has no insurance coverage because of her age and pre-existing conditions, and the hospital bills are quickly becoming unmanageable. As a middle-class family, we are doing everything we can—but we now need help.
We are humbly asking for your support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing her story.
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your time, generosity, and prayers.
