Help Fasi Hala’eua Fight for More Time With His Family
This beautiful family of eight is holding on to hope.
Fasi Hala’eua—a devoted husband and proud father of six daughters—is now facing the fight of his life. He has been diagnosed with Acral Lentiginous Melanoma, a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer that often goes undetected until it’s in advanced stages. For Fasi, the cancer has already progressed to a critical point.
The cancer is growing, yet through it all, Fasi’s heart remains full of love for his family and faith in God’s plan for him. He continues to fight, not for himself, but for more time with his wife and daughters.
Fasi is a man of quiet strength and deep faith. He is the girls’ biggest cheerleader, protector, and provider—the one who calms every storm and kisses every scraped knee. To his girls, he’s not just “Dad,” he’s their whole world. Mele, his wife, is his constant support—caring for him while trying to keep life as normal as possible for their girls: Moala, Liku, Olivia, Mele-Heilala, Vaiola, and Gwendolyn.
They are trying to make every moment count, but the emotional weight is matched by a growing financial one—medical bills, transportation to specialists, daily costs, and lost income. It’s overwhelming.
