My name is Darius “Buda” Brandon. I am the only son of Sonja Patrice Fulcher.
I am reaching out on behalf of my mother, a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, loyal friend, and woman of unwavering faith who is now in the fight of her life.
On June 8, 2025, she was admitted to the ICU in critical condition due to sudden respiratory failure. Since that day, she has remained in the Intensive Care Unit on full life support — including mechanical ventilation and continuous dialysis — as her body fights to recover. For nearly two weeks, she was fully sedated and dependent on machines to breathe, filter her blood, and stabilize her organs.
Thanks to your prayers and the grace of God, she is not giving up — and neither are we. Every breath she takes is a testimony. Every machine she’s on is a tool in the hands of our Great Physician.
As my mother remains in the ICU, medical costs, medication, long-term care, and loss of income are creating a significant financial strain on our family.
These funds will go directly toward:
• ICU & hospital expenses
• Life-support & specialty medications
• Post-ICU rehabilitation
• Transportation & family support
• Continued prayer resources & spiritual care
We are believing God not only for her full recovery, but for the provision needed to carry her through this season with dignity, peace, and strength.
We believe the report of the Lord — and we believe Sonja shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
