Help Save Our Baby’s Heart:
Support Delila’s Life-Saving Surgery
Dear family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,
Our precious Delila was born with a severe congenital heart defect known as Complete Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD). This condition means that the walls separating the heart’s chambers didn’t form properly, causing blood to flow incorrectly and forcing Delila’s heart to work harder than it should. Without corrective surgery, this defect can lead to heart failure and other life-threatening complications.
At just 7 months old, Delila is already a strong little warrior. Despite the challenges, she continues to smile, laugh, and fill our hearts with so much joy, but now she urgently needs open-heart surgery to repair the defect and give her a chance at a healthy life.
The Road Ahead
The surgery is scheduled for this month at St. Luke’s in the Philippines. While we are hopeful, we know the journey will be long and difficult. Delila will require:
* Open-heart surgery to close the AVSD and repair the heart valves.
* Post-operative care in the ICU and extended hospital stay.
* Follow-up treatments and medications to ensure a full recovery.
The Financial Burden
The total cost of the surgery and related medical expenses is estimated at $25,000. As a family, we are doing everything we can to cover these costs, but we need your help. Your generous donations will go directly toward:
* Hospital bills and surgical fees.
* ICU and recovery room charges.
* Medications and follow-up appointments.
* Travel and accommodation expenses for our family during this time.
