Hi, my name is Mira and I’m currently pursuing a physics degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My freshman year, I was diagnosed with mucinous ovarian cancer, which caused me to travel back home to receive surgery and further treatments. Through surgery, I lost my ovary, which puts me at higher risk of becoming infertile, and I’m currently seeking to receive fertility treatment.

As much as I’ve tried to stay strong and manage everything on my own, the future and current medical and traveling costs have become overwhelming. Any donation, big or small, will go directly towards my medical bills, traveling expenses, and then any living or tuition costs during the school year.
