My name is Scott Peters. I am the son of Mike Peters, who has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am looking to raise funds to help my father with his treatments, prescriptions, and medical bills. My father has been a great dad and has always been there for me and his grandchildren. This is a way for us to help raise money and be there for him.
As a grandfather, he has traveled hours to attend his grandchildren’s baseball games, hockey games, taken them bowling, attended birthday parties, and has always gone above and beyond to support them. With his recent diagnosis, he has been restricted in the limits he can push and the distances he can travel. This caused him to recently miss his oldest grandchild’s high school graduation. My mother and father are at the point where they will have to sell their house and downsize drastically.
As a die-hard Cubs fan, he sits in his recliner and watches every game to pass the time while my mother has been forced to take on the daily chores around the house. My dad is adamant that he will make a recovery and be able to jump back in the tractor and help his friends during harvest again this year, and we would love to see him get there. I am creating this page with the hopes that I can help relieve some stress from my mother and father as they go through these tough times.
