I’m making this fundraiser on behalf of Eric Weaver. I have been having ongoing heart issues since August 2023, where I thought I had a bad case of food poisoning, but the pains were so severe that I ended up in the emergency room. I had elevated blood pressure that they told me I should have stroked out or been dead. I have had 3 surgeries since on my aortic valve type B dissection and external iliac arteries with aortic aneurysm and left common iliac artery aneurysm.
I have been having issues since this prior surgery, which has now progressed to where I am now having to have open heart surgery to hopefully repair the weakened heart. I have been fighting disability for 2 years with multiple denials before I finally got a lawyer involved. I have my firstborn son coming in less than 2 months, and I am going to have to have this procedure prior to him being born, which may cause a long strain on his mother as she will have to care for myself and a newborn. I am not one to ask for help, but I am in dire need as this is a long recovery and hospital stay and lengthy therapy. Any minimal amount will help take some stress off both of us as she’ll be on maternity leave as well as my medical needs to care for me after care.
I want to be able to get this surgery and live my best life to be there for my son. At 46 years old, I never imagined I’d be a dad, and now I have a little one who will look up to me. I need to be my healthy self for my little man. If you can donate I’d greatly appreciate this as it will help with furthering myself or if something happens for my son.
