Hello, my name is Janet W. Williams, and I’m a mother reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit.
In 2016, my son, Landon Phillips, was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease called Ulcerative Colitis. Since then, life has been a constant battle — full of painful flare-ups, countless treatments, and an exhausting search for relief. He’s endured so much, including monthly infusions and extreme weight loss.
To make matters worse, the medications that were supposed to help have caused another devastating setback: he’s now developed a second autoimmune disease, Psoriasis — a painful, visible, and emotionally draining condition that has made his suffering even harder to bear. Neither disease is curable.
This has deeply affected his mental health, especially because his job in sales requires him to be on camera every day. Right now, he’s experiencing a severe flare-up that has made it impossible for him to work, adding financial stress on top of physical and emotional pain. They are in real danger of losing their home.
As a mother, there’s nothing worse than watching your child struggle and not being able to take the pain away. That’s why I’ve created this fundraiser — to ask for help with the overwhelming medical expenses and daily needs while he fights to get back on his feet. I am a mother that is not beyond begging if it could possibly help my child. The stress of all of this has begun to impact my own mental health.
If you’re able to give, please know how truly grateful we are. And if giving isn’t possible right now, your prayers and support are just as powerful and appreciated. Even simply sharing this page could make a real difference in his life.
With love and gratitude,
Janet W. Williams
