Hi, my name is Magda Miranda-Gonzalez, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my cousin, Allan Zamora, who lives in Costa Rica and has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Allan is facing this diagnosis without a job, without health insurance, and while caring full-time for his special needs daughter.
Doctors have told Allan that a surgery costing $16,000 could stop the cancer from spreading (metastasizing) and give him a real chance at recovery. Without this surgery, his prognosis becomes far more dangerous. Unfortunately, Allan has no way to afford this life-saving procedure on his own.
I’m asking for your help so Allan can get the medical care he urgently needs—not just to fight cancer, but to stay alive and present for his daughter, who depends on him every day.
