Just a few short months ago, Miss Brooklyn was a happy, very athletic 12-year-old girl who fell ill in January. On January 23, her and her family’s life changed as she was diagnosed with severe aplastic anemia, a rare and life-threatening condition in which the body stops producing enough blood cells. She has also now been fighting diabetes. Brooklyn has had to undergo a bone biopsy. She has also had several blood transfusions and experienced multiple seizures. Currently, little Miss Brooklyn is at Brennen’s Children’s Hospital receiving oxygen and around-the-clock care. Her condition is critical, and her journey ahead is long, uncertain, and incredibly challenging. Her family, which consists of her beautiful mother and her one older sister, has been by her side every moment, doing everything they can to support her. But the mounting medical bills, time away from work, and the unexpected costs of long-term care are overwhelming.
This fundraiser is being created to help ease the financial burden on Brooklyn’s family so they can focus on what matters the most: helping their daughter heal.
Your donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward:
• Hospital stays and intensive care costs
• Life-saving treatments and medications
• Ongoing care and rehabilitation
• Travel and accommodation expenses for the family
• Basic living costs during this crisis
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page.
Every act of kindness helps, and your support means the world to a family going through the unimaginable.
Let’s show Brooklyn and her family that they are not alone in this fight. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
