We are so grateful you are here for us. We have been overwhelmed with the amazing love and support you’ve shown Tyler during this most difficult time. We are creating this fundraiser account to aid in Tyler’s recovery. These funds will be utilized specifically for Tyler and any needs that he may have.
As you know, on Saturday morning, May 31st, Tyler joined his family and a few buddies to help with a family construction project when he began to express stroke like symptoms. Thankfully, EMS was called right away. Tyler underwent neurosurgery, during which the surgeons were able to successfully contain two brain aneurysms. It is believed that this originated from a birth abnormality that has just become apparent. The medical team noted his strong and resilient spirit throughout entire procedure. The surgery went well, and the medical team shared that he’s cleared the first major hurdle. They are now carefully guiding him through each next step and remain cautiously optimistic about the challenges that still lie ahead.
Tyler is currently in the neuro ICU and is expected to be here for some time. Another procedure(s) to reassess and intervene will take place when the doctors feel the time is right for Tyler to ensure the best outcome. We ask for prayers for his continued recovery and the strength to fight the battle ahead.
