For years, my mom has poured her heart into caring for others as a nurse, bringing comfort and healing to so many in our community. Now, she’s facing her own health battle after being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and undergoing surgery. Taking time off work to focus on her recovery has brought unexpected financial challenges, with mounting medical expenses adding to the stress.
