Our Friend Destiny Needs Us Right Now
Please Help if You Can — Share, Donate, Hold Space
Hi everyone,
I’m writing on behalf of someone incredibly dear to me — Destiny Mullett. If you know Destiny, you know how much heart, resilience, and humor she carries, even in the darkest moments. Right now, she’s in one of those moments, and she needs us.
After moving to Vancouver Island for a fresh start, Destiny’s health took a sudden and terrifying turn. She’s been in and out of hospitals, facing multiple medical emergencies, and dealing with all of it alone — far from family, community, and support systems.
She’s too sick to work. She’s isolated. And now, she’s at risk of losing her housing.
This isn’t just a hard time. This is a crisis.
Destiny has always shown up for others — with compassion, with honesty, with her whole damn heart. Now she’s asking for help, and I’m echoing that call:
We’re hoping to raise $10,000 to help her cover:
Urgent medical travel and treatment
Rent and basic living costs while she recovers
Bills and essentials to keep her from falling through the cracks
Please — if you can give anything, whether it’s $5 or $50, it truly helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this or holding her in your heart means a lot too.
Destiny is fighting to stay afloat — physically, emotionally, and financially. Let’s help her hold the line until she can stand again.
“Wela’lioq aqq na’tel.”
River
With love,
