Carmella’s Fight

For my 21 years of life my mom has been one of my greatest fans, my strongest supporter and my best friend. She and my dad have always been there for me. Now I need to be there for her.

If you know her, you know how compassionate and loving she is. The kids of Mt. Lebanon that go to Howe Elementary have had tears wiped away from their little faces, recieved hugs of support and comfort on their tough days and a sympathetic ear when they needed someone to talk to.

Before that my mom gave up her job working as a transcriptions to take care of an elderly couple, (Joseph and Erna Bickert) who became sick in their final years and needed almost 24/7 care.

But that’s just who she is. My Mom has a huge heart and it’s one of the things I’ve always admired and loved about her.

Carmella, my mom, was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. This diagnosis is terrifying and has really been a devastating blow to my family

If my mom has taught me anything, it’s that we don’t give up. She’s a fighter. But this fight isn’t without some serious expenses.

So I’m setting up this fundraiser to help my dad pay for my mom’s medical expenses. He has insurance for our family but he has to hit a $7000.00 deductible before insurance pays for everything and even then there’s hotel expense for out of state medical care and not all of her medication are covered by our insurance.

Any little bit helps. Help me help my Mom win this fight. Thank you and God Bless.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
