We’re reaching out on behalf of someone who means the world to us — Bruce — a man with a heart of gold, who now has a brand new heart fighting to keep him going.
Over the past year, Bruce has endured more than most could imagine:
A triple bypass surgery
A life-saving heart transplant
And most recently, another bypass to improve blood flow
Through every surgery, setback, and hospital stay, Bruce has shown incredible courage. Now, as he takes the first steps on his long road to recovery, we want to help ease the financial burden so he can focus on healing.
Bruce Needs Our Help
Bruce’s recovery journey is far from over. His new life comes with ongoing, critical expenses that insurance only partially covers, including:
Weekly trips to his transplant team in Valhalla, NY (6-hour round trip)
Anti-rejection medications that are only 80% covered by insurance
A safe, recovery-focused home that meets his health needs
A reliable vehicle large enough to transport his medical equipment, luggage, and mobility scooter
Outstanding medical bills from multiple major surgeries
