Hi, I’m Mom, and I have been caring for my disabled daughter for six years now. Fighting for transportation to and from doctor’s appointments has been a real hassle! We go absolutely nowhere throughout the days because I don’t have any and can’t afford to purchase a mobility van for her needs. I so wish I could be picked for this because staying at home gets depressing not only for her but for me too!! She suffers from Guillain-Barré Syndrome brought on by back-to-back cases of COVID! She’s also has schizophrenia, with memory loss, so each day is a new adventure for her. It would be so wonderful to give her a chance to live some kind of decent life instead of being cooped up inside all the time. P.S. She loves fishing, window shopping, and concerts in the park. But like I said, six years is a long time not to be involved in social activities in the community we love. Please consider helping us to help make Beth’s life a little more accessible and enjoyable. Thank you.
