Queridos amigos, familiares y personas de buen corazón:
Nos dirigimos a ustedes en nombre de nuestra querida tía, Gloria López, quien actualmente reside en Guatemala. Nuestra familia está atravesando un momento increíblemente difícil y les pedimos su ayuda—a través de donaciones, compartiendo esta página, y sobre todo, sus oraciones.
El día 28 de mayo de 2025, sufrimos una pérdida devastadora: el fallecimiento repentino de nuestra madre, abuela, tía, hermana y amiga Juana Chilel. El día de esta pérdida, Gloria se desmayó. Al principio creímos que era a causa del dolor emocional por la pérdida de su madre, así que la atendimos en casa.
Nueve días después, volvió a desmayarse.
Esta vez decidimos llevarla al hospital. Después de realizarle varios exámenes, los médicos descubrieron varios tumores en su cerebro. Gloria es una madre amorosa, humilde, trabajadora y entregada, con ocho hijos hermosos que la aman profundamente. Ahora, ella está luchando por su vida.
A pesar de haber gastado ya miles de dólares en consultas médicas, medicamentos y los gastos del funeral de nuestra abuelita Juana, nuestra familia se unió nuevamente. Con la ayuda de los hijos de Gloria, sus hermanos, amigos y seres queridos, logramos reunir el dinero necesario para su cirugía cerebral, la cual se realizó el 10 de junio.
Los médicos dijeron que despertaría 24 horas después.
Ya han pasado tres días y aún no ha despertado. Gloria se encuentra en estado de coma.
Estamos creando esta página de fundraiser para recaudar fondos destinados a los gastos médicos continuos—incluyendo hospitalización, medicamentos, tratamientos y cualquier otro cuidado que pueda necesitar en este momento tan incierto.
Sabemos que el dinero no lo es todo, pero cualquier donación—por pequeña que sea—será una gran bendición. Y si no pueden donar, les pedimos con todo el corazón que incluyan a Gloria en sus oraciones y que compartan esta página.

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
We are reaching out on behalf of our beloved aunt, Gloria Lopez, who currently resides in Guatemala. Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time, and we are asking for your help—through donations, shares, and most importantly, your prayers.
On May 28th, 2025, our family suffered a heartbreaking loss—the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend Juana Chilel. The same day of this loss, our Aunt Gloria fainted. At first, we believed it was from the overwhelming grief of losing her mother, so we cared for her at home.
Nine days later, she fainted again.
This time, we rushed her to the hospital. After running tests, doctors discovered several tumors in her brain. Gloria, a loving, humble, hardworking mother of eight beautiful children, is now fighting for her life.
Despite already spending thousands of dollars on medical visits, medications, and the funeral for our grandmother Juana, our family came together again. With the support of Gloria’s children, her siblings, friends, and others, we were able to raise enough money for her brain surgery, which took place on June 10th.
She was expected to wake up within 24 hours.
It’s now been three days, and she has yet to regain consciousness. Gloria is currently in a coma.
We are creating this fundraiser page to help raise funds for the ongoing medical expenses—including hospital stays, medications, treatments, and any additional care she may need during this uncertain time.
While we know money isn’t everything, any donation—no matter how small—would be a blessing. And if you’re unable to give, we ask from the bottom of our hearts that you keep Gloria in your prayers and help by sharing this page.
