Assist Warren Brown With His Heart Transplant Recovery

I have been a friend of the Brown family for over 15 years–my son and their son, Emmons, attended Salem Academy together. As many of you may already know, Warren has had many health issues, including a near fatal heart attack in 2017. He has been unable to work until a year ago, when he got a part time job working at Judson’s Heating.

On April 29 of this year, his heart began to fail and doctors determined he would need a heart transplant, but the only facility he could have the procedure performed was in Seattle. He received a transplant last week, but complications occurred resulting in additional surgeries, which delayed his recovery by two weeks.

Since he has started physical therapy at the hospital, he has been making progress. However, once he is released from the hospital, he will have to remain in the Seattle area for three months in the event of an emergency and to attend weekly doctor visits and testing.

His mother and sister have been staying in a hotel in Seattle to help care for Warren and support him through this ordeal, which has been very costly. Once he is released from the hospital, however, they will need to rent a home to live in with Warren to care for his needs.

They are very much in need of financial assistance to cover all of these expenses. If you are able to help Warren and his family financially, with even the smallest amount, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are only able to support them in prayer, that would be appreciated as well.

If you happen to have a rental home or AirBnb in the Seattle area they could rent at a discounted or donated price for three weeks to a month, that would be helpful as well. They need a minimum of two bedrooms and two bathrooms on one level. If it is an apartment complex with multiple floors, they would need an elevator. They also need something with on site parking. There, of course, will be food costs as well to cover and utilities.

Thank you for your help, and please be praying for Warren and the entire Brown family.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
