Ariya’s Medical Journey: Your Help Needed

Help Ariya Fight Pneumonia: She Needs Our Support!

Dear friends, family and community,

We are reaching out in a time of need for our brave little warrior, Ariya Isabella. She was taken to the doctor on Tuesday, 6/03/25 for a prolonged cough and fever. She had an X-ray done that showed pneumonia. She was prescribed an antibiotic and we were on our way.

Thursday night 6/05/25, Kayley rushed her to the ER for rapid and labored breathing. They took all of her vitals, said her oxygen levels were in the 70’s and told them they would not be going. They were admitted to the hospital around 11:15pm. After a long night in the ER filled with blood draws, xrays and breathing treatments they were finally moved to a room around 4:00am.

Late Friday afternoon, after multiple hours at the maximum oxygen that McKenzie was able to give, the doctors decided to transport Ariya to Portland in case she were to decline. Ariya was life-flighted around 6:00pm with her dad bravely accompanying her to a children’s hospital where she received the specialized care she urgently needed.

She spent the first night in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). Despite her oxygen levels initially dropping, with the help of multiple rounds of antibiotics, fluids for dehydration (doctor’s said her kidneys were getting dry), steroids, nebulizer treatments, and full oxygen support, she was showing signs of improvement and was moved to a pediatric floor Saturday morning.

Ariya was moved back to the PICU around 11:30pm Sunday night as she was once again declining and on the maximum level of oxygen that the pediatric floor was able to provide and needed to be watched and monitored more closely.

Ariya has shown incredible strength and resilience. However, the fight is far from over. As we navigate this challenging time, we are staying positive and hopeful for Ariya’s recovery. But we also face significant medical expenses ahead. This is where we humbly ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial burden of medical bills, travel costs, and other unforeseen expenses during this incredibly stressful time.

We believe in the power of community, love, and support. Please keep Ariya in your thoughts and prayers as she continues her fight. We are grateful for any help you can provide.

Ariya has two older brothers back home who are being taken care of by other family.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us in this battle. Together, we can help Ariya get back to being the vibrant, joyful child we know and love!

Please share our story.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Ariya’s family.

Team Ariya!
