Aid Nathan Jay: A Story of Resilience

#NoSelfHarm

#EndDomesticViolence

#MentalHealth

Nathan Jay was diagnosed with Asperger Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as schizophrenia, anxiety and depression, and yet he insists upon working rather than reinstating his disability insurance and Nathan Jay needs help!

This fundraiser is set up to help Nathan Jay get back on his feet and into his car.

Nathan Jay is forty years old and employed full time at a local hospice wellness home where he is the dietary aide and is very proud of his work.

Nathan Jay is currently admitted to a psychiatric hospital and we hope that he is home as soon as possible.

Nathan Jay experience tragedy very early in life when his mother was violently taken from him and his 2 siblings at which time the three were separated and sent to live with foster families. Nathan did this for 8 years following the brutal murder of his mother in the parking lot of their apartment homes complex. On a very sunny summer day in Clearfield, PA, Jack showed up and opened at Nathan Jay’s mom, his wife, and shot her in the back with a doulble barrel 12 gague shotgun as she was walking away from her husband with their middle child.

Nathan Jay has been on his own since the murder of his mother and the lifelong incarceration of his father. Unfortunately, as it happens in situations like these, Nathan became an orphan and was bounced between foster families and has not ever had a family of his own since being ten years old when he lost his mother as well as father and siblings.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
