Help John Duncan Get the MRI and Medical Care He Needs
Hello, friends, family, and kind strangers,
My name is Ashley Duncan, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my husband, John Duncan. We are in urgent need of financial assistance to help cover the cost of an MRI and any potential follow-up medical expenses related to a serious knee injury John recently suffered.
John is a devoted husband, father, and an incredibly hard-working man. He’s spent years building his life as a self-employed landscaper and carpenter in the Gulf Coast area, helping neighbors and clients alike with everything from beautiful yards to home improvement projects. He takes great pride in his work and rarely ever asks for help—but right now, we have no other option.
John recently injured his knee and has been diagnosed with what appears to be a torn patellar tendon. Unfortunately, the doctors can’t determine the full extent of his injuries or begin a proper treatment plan until he gets an MRI, which we currently cannot afford. We’ve been told that surgery may be necessary, but without the MRI, we are stuck in limbo.
As you can imagine, being self-employed means John doesn’t have access to paid medical leave or disability benefits. He is currently unable to work, which not only puts a financial strain on our household but also delays his recovery, as we’re struggling to cover the cost of essential diagnostics and care.
