Aid Amy Schuller’s Healing Journey

Hello friends and family. My name is Melissa and my mother Amy Schuller has been in the hospital for almost two months and is now in a rehabilitation facility. For several of those weeks she was in a medically induced coma, on a ventilator. She suffered from a 15 pound hernia that eventually ended up killing 20 inches of her intestines, which left her body to become septic. Currently she is still unable to walk due to being in a coma for so long, and still has a wound vac. She is recovering with the help of my father by her side everyday. He has now taken on the entire financial burden of everything, which will now include extensive medical bills for my mother. Including the physical therapy she’s needing, and all the medical devices she will require to have at home to be able to get around, as well as railings for front and back porch and bathroom support bars.
