There’s a stray male cat that’s been quietly surviving on the edge of our neighborhood for a while now. He’s always kept his distance, but things changed when my mom started leaving food out. Now he stays within sight and in our home’s perimeter.
For the past few days, he hasn’t been eating. I’ve left food out, even tried hand feeding (which worked for a while), but it now stays untouched. His eyes look tired, his frame thinner than ever. It’s clear something is wrong, and I don’t know what to do.
Despite everything, when I sit near him, he doesn’t run anymore. It’s like he knows I want to help. And I do.
I want to take him to the vet and find out what’s wrong. I want to give him a warm, safe home where he never has to worry about being cold, hungry, or alone again. My hope is to bring him indoors, nurse him back to health, and show him the comfort and love he’s likely never known.
But vet care is expensive, especially the initial checkup, blood work, and whatever treatment he may need. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
If you can, please consider contributing toward his vet bills. Even a small amount can help give him the chance he deserves. He’s lived a life of survival, and I want to help him live.
