Hi, my name is Natasha. I am 38 years old and in the last year I’ve lost 125lbs on my weight loss journey.
I knew I was going to need skin removal surgery years ago due to having both my kids via c sections. If you have had c sections, you know our muscles and skin do not “bounce back”.
Since the weight loss I have been getting infections in my belly button and under my excessive skin folds. Which is treated regularly by my doctor. I’ve spent the last 6 plus months having 3 separate consults to have the skin removed. Because of the type of skin removal, I need my insurance will not pay for it.
I have worked my entire life mostly in healthcare. I am a CNA, CNA-M, CRMA. So, we all know it is very hard work on our bodies, but the pay is not that great. I’ve been a hard worker my entire life and this is not like me to ask for help. But who has 13k in the bank? Not this momma! I am not in the situation I can get a bank loan for this.
The total is $13,512.50
I am asking for a little help along the way to have this surgery. Even $1 every little bit helps! even if you can’t help sharing this will help!
I am going to continue to pick up more shifts and possibly an extra job to help pay for this. And to save as I will be out of work for 6 weeks after surgery.
My goal is to have this done in November 2025. In order to book the surgery to secure my date I need a $4000 deposit. The rest has to be paid by September.
