Karen is now facing lung cancer after a recent mastectomy. The cancer has taken its toll and has not responded to immunotherepy, so she needs to start a specialized chemo treatment.
The chemo meds are not fully covered by insurance, and she will likely need ongoing treatment for the next 6+ months. The funds raised here will go towards her treatment in addition to helping finance her day-to-day expenses, including bills, dog walkers, and other medical expenses.
