I recently had aortobifemoral surgery to repair the circulation in my legs and feet. Unfortunately, during the operation, my left ureter was damaged. This caused urine to drain into my abdomen, which caused my graft sites to become infected. I had to be readmitted to the hospital for another ten days to get the infection under control. I had to have a tube attached to my left kidney to keep the urine from draining into my abdomen. The fluid was drained from my abdomen, and a stent was placed. I have antibiotics that I’m taking through a permanent IV portal at home. I still have more operations coming in the future. Any help to pay for my medical expenses would be greatly appreciated.
